Have you ever done anything truly selfless? Most of us would say yes but if we think really hard we might admit '..of course the selfless deed did make me feel good.' So what was our truest motivation? Well it's hard to tell but the better question might be, 'Where does that motivation come from?' Today Springs Trustee Robert Boyd looks at Matthew and helps us examine what the oldest known author of selfless motivation had to say about how we are suppose to live. Join us Sunday's 10 AM at McKenna Event Center in New Braunfels, Texas.
Have you ever wanted to be part of the 'in' crowd? Maybe you were voted most liked of some sort in school. Maybe you've just struggled to belong. Is it possible for church to become a place that requires you to fit in? If so, what would that look like? The way you talk, dress, bible knowledge, or maybe involvement? Listen to Part 2 of the teaching based on Paul's instructions for what the local church must be. How God desires, and has called, all churches to be effective in their ministry to one another, and by doing so, build themselves up in love. How the local church is meant to be a place of life change, as it is God's divine institution and primary means of extending Christ's love to seek and save a lost world. By the power of Christ, the local church is the hope of the world. Listen as Lead Pastor John Almquist looks at Ephesians 4:11-16. Join us Sunday's 10 AM at McKenna.
What about your community are you passionate about?
What would you want to tell everyone is THE most important thing to be concerned and consumed about? Hunger, homelessness, abuse, civic duty, local government, education, or art and culture are just a few that come to mind.
Consider if you were writing to a local church on behalf of God, what would be the first instruction or command you would give to them? To love others? To serve the poor? To be morally pure? To read their Bible?
While those are all good, they are not what the Apostle shows us comes first when calling the local church to live out their faith. Listen as Lead Pastor John Almquist discusses what the Apostle Paul shares must mark the local church in order for it to be a healthy, New Testament church.

Who doesn't like to be right? Most of us won't admit it, but much of the time we're more interested in being right than being at peace. What marks a true peacemaker? Lead Pastor John Almquist continues part two of a closer look at conflict resolution. Join us on Sunday morning for a great equipping opportunity for a waiting world.
If you've ever considered your faith to be 'me & Jesus', tune in, take note, and be challenged. Lead Pastor, John Almquist investigates why God places a high value on biblical community and so should we. You matter to God, therefore you matter to His people. We hope you're encouraged and reminded of His loving kindness and how crazy He is for you!
